	Internet Rechartering

Electronic Rechartering is a Web-based method for units to renew their charters from any online location at home or at the office. Units will love this new method; its easy, convenient, and accurate because you enter the information yourself.

From Internet Rechartering, you can indicate returning members, add new members, and update information for an individual or the chartered organization.

Your unit will receive a unique access code along with the charters traditional paper printout in the unit charter package. This package will be available in at your October District Roundtable.

To renew a charter online:

Select a renewal processor today. The processor begins familiarizing with the rechartering steps by clicking through the on-line tutorial.
The renewal processor attends October roundtable to receive an overview, charter renewal materials and the unit access code.
Beginning October 1st, the renewal processor clicks Recharter Now and begins the process.
When the online process is completed, the renewal processor prints the completed charter renewal application.
The unit leader and the chartered organization representative sign the charter renewal application. Submit the application along with the material you received in your recharter packet (such as the Quality Unit application), and all appropriate fees at the November roundtable. You may also turn your materials in to your unit commissioner or district executive.
